humane education in the classroom
A Teacher's Guide for integrating humane education activities into the classroom is now available. Using material gathered by the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland and the resources of the Linkage Project, with support from the Florence V. Burden Foundation, Maine teachers now have a resource guide with sample lesson plans and website links to access other helpful classroom material.
The resource guide is also relevant to daycare centers, summer camps and parents.
